At night, Stephen dons a black cape and cowl and writes articles for his own website. Stephen’s interest is the history of film and making those connections that show how film culture evolves and becomes part of the familiar in the movies we know and love today, Stephen also contributes to another great movie website

Quentin Johnson is an emigre, flâneur and film junkie who lives in Wellington, New Zealand.

He worked as an assistant, sound and film editor for the Australian Broadcasting Corporation for 21 years, mostly in documentaries and current affairs.


Bianca Garner, editor/founder 'In their own League'. AKA Bee, and you probably have heard all about her already. Bee graduated in BA (Hons) Film & Television Studies and has found her way into film criticism. Over the years, Bee has written for various outlets and, over the years, has enjoyed her time writing for some really wonderful sites. Bee decided to set up 'In Their Own League' Because she is passionate about showcasing female talent and other under represented people working in the film industry. Setting up her own site has been a dream. Her favourite films included Mary Harron’s “American Psycho”, Karyn Kusama’s “The Invitation” and Amy Heckerling’s “Clueless.”
